Replace The Old Tiles In The Bathroom

Stainless Steel TilesHubby is thinking of replacing the old tiles in the bathroom of the vacation home with the stainless steel backsplash tiles.

Stainless steel tiles are so popular now because they are very strong, water, heat, rust and corrosion resistant and great looking.

Perhaps I should also consider replacing the old tiles in the kitchen with stainless steel tiles to protect the kitchen walls.

Decorate The Vacation Home With Chinese New Year Accessories

Chinese Paper DragonsTo make the Chinese family vacation renters feel at home in our vacation home, hubby and I had decorated the house with some Chinese paper dragons and Chinese New Year accessories.

We even placed two small red packets on the HDTV for the couple’s daughters. Of course, there is money in the red packets.

You know, one of their daughters is called Sasha. Sasha is a hot name now.

What A Careless Vacationer!

What a careless vacationer! The vacationer left some magnets in my vacation home last week.

I wonder if it’s safe to send the magnets back to them by post. What if they are lost during the delivery?

I think I should just stop worrying. Perhaps they don’t mind leaving them at my place. Just wait for their email.

This is the fun part about renting out vacation home. You’ll never know what will be left behind by vacationers.

Buy New Contemporary Furniture To Replace Old Furniture In Vacation Home

Some vacation home owners suggest I buy some contemporary furniture to replace my existing old furniture.

I must admit that the furniture look old, but they are still very sturdy. I don’t see it as a reason to replace them with new ones.

Besides, what should I do with the old furniture if I buy new furniture? No, no, I don’t want to be wasteful during credit crunch and recession.

Jerdon Magnifying Wall Mirror Fits Well With Bathroom Decor

Hubby received a call from our vacationer that one of the mirrors in the bathroom broke into pieces. Huh? How did it break into pieces?

But it’s lucky that nobody was hurt. Even luckier is that the broken mirror was not my favorite Jerdon magnifying wall mirror, otherwise I would be mad.

The Jerdon magnifying wall mirror is my favorite because it fits perfectly well with the bathroom décor.

Hubby and I have to go and check it out later.

There Are Christmas Dinner Recipes Books In The Vacation Home

A regular vacationer has confirmed that she and her family will spend their Christmas holidays at my vacation home. It’s great that she makes her confirmation so early.

The only favor she wants from me is that there are some Christmas dinner recipes available in the vacation home so that she can prepare excellent Christmas dinner for her family.

No problem at all. Not only will she be able to access to recipe books available in the vacation home, she will also have access to the Internet.

Regular Vacation Renters Love Doing Workouts On Fitness Equipment

Hubby and I have been urged by some regular vacation renters to place some fitness equipment in the vacation home so that they can do exercise indoor on rainy days.

I think it’s time for us to move one of our treadmills from our home gym to the vacation home because of vacation renters’ requests.

It’s great to have such healthy-conscious vacationers, isn’t it?

Need Two Shelves Of Educational Travel Books For Children

Last month, I bought some bean bag chairs for my vacation home.

This month, I am going set up a reading corner for kid vacationers. There are already some children’s books but I think I need two more shelves of educational travel children’s books.

Adult vacationers will be happy if their kids can occupy their time by reading some travel books for kids. Kids will definitely get to know more about the people and culture of a destination.
