A Newbie

There are sales around for sony tvs at the shopping mall, but hubby doesn’t feel like grabbing any deeply-discounted tv.

I understand hubby’s concern. He thinks it’s best to have the extra money saved in the bank than spending on a new tv.

How I wish I would have a raise this June! I wouldn’t have a raise because I am still considered a newbie in the company. :P

Discounted Stuff In Feb & Mar

Last night, I came over here for some updates. But unfortunately due to my slow 3G, I had to give up.

Now that the speed has gone back to its usual speed, I can look for discounted Marcus nurses uniforms and place them here as recommended buys.

As February and March are months when shoppers have their wallets all zipped up, that’s why only discounted stuff should be recommended to help them save money.

Start Improving Your Credit Repair!

Mmm, it’s time to read a bit more info about credit repair! I must really be serious about bringing my credit score higher to facilitate future loan application. @.@

Do you care much about your credit score? I do now. But I didn’t care much last time due to my ignorance.

Haiz, if I had know having higher credit score’s benefits a few years ago, I would have done everything to minimize the harm done to it!

Anywhere, I don’t think it’s too late to start doing the credit repair now. Right?

Let It Go!

O, my, a few baby shower invitations for the next two months! @.@

Ouch, this means a huge chunk of money is going to fly out of my pocket for buying baby gifts!

Help, is there any way I can reduce the money spent on baby gifts? Maybe I should just take it easy when it comes to money. Let it go!

Or maybe I should seek ways to make more money online to pay for the gifts.

What Would You Buy?

What would you buy after you strike a lottery? A honda car or a honda lawnmower?

Don’t laugh! There was a lottery winner who bought a lawnmower after he won the lottery.

I don’t remember the name of the winner and how much he had won, but I remember very well that he said he would buy a lawnmower. He also said he would pay off his home mortgage and save up the rest of the money in savings.

Ha, Not Now!

A colleague asked if I would like to look for another pasture yesterday as she came across some finance jobs listed at a famous job site and newspaper.

Ha, I don’t think it’s time for me to quit my current job now! Firstly I am still enjoying my current job. Secondly, the pay is quite okay, though not as high if compared to other buddies. ^.^

The last reason is that there are still many things I can learn from my seniors. Let me learn until there is nothing I can learn then I will resign.

A Life Full Of Ups & Downs

Filed under: Money Management — Tags: — admin @ 7:35 am

Don’t you love your life filled with ups and downs? Well, I do. But of course, I am glad that there are more ups than downs. Thank God.

Earlier this week, I received a piece of good news that I had been waiting for a long time. Finally, a burden that I had been carrying was lifted off my shoulders.

Now, I am waiting for another burden to be taken off my shoulders. Will it come true? Honestly, I have no idea. It’s totally up to God now.

Second Wave Of Recession?

Do you think the recession is finally over? With the jobless rate falling in many places and people taking vacations again, it seems the worst of recession is behind us.

The other day while I was looking for an allergy relief cream at the mall, I noticed shoppers seemed to be back to filling their trolleys full of groceries rather than less than half or 1/3 of the trolleys.

I read that there may be the second wave of recession and thus people are warned to be careful when it comes to spending.
