Yippie, hubby and I will have a short 3D 2N great day getaways starting next Friday! 
Although there hasn’t been any hotel reservation made yet, I am not worried at all. Well, it’s not the peak holiday season now, therefore, there must be plenty vacant hotel rooms and theme tickets available!
Okay, I will have to decide when I should send hubby’s car and its
lincoln navigator custom floor mats for a thorough wash before the great day getaways!
So disappointed! Hubby said he would be away this weekend with his buddy who is a motorcycle accident attorney.
This buddy of his is going out of town for a case this weekend and hubby wants to go along.
I know why hubby wants to tag along! Right after his buddy’s work, they will go and have fun there with some other buddies.
Fine. Hubby should have some fun after so many stressful projects.
Oh, I am left alone at home this weekend!
I truly envy my blogging pal, a business plan writer who prefers to spend her Christmas and New Year in the mountains with her hubby and kids this year.
Wow, this means she can get away from crazy Christmas gift wrapping and dinner cooking this year!
Honestly, I wish I could do the same next Xmas! Let me spend enough time to persuade hubby to have a retreat with me in the mountains next year.
Cheap getaway deals are more widely available today than in the recent past due to the economic hardships.
You can see fantastic family holiday deals or last minute holiday deals to destinations that are not only exciting but also, surprisingly enough, affordable.
Of course for last minute deals, you do run a bit of a risk because there are no guarantees on location or availability.
A buddy specializing in supplying auto accessories just came back from a family vacation that appealed to him, his wife and also the teen sons to Italy.
According to him, the last minute vacation was satisfying and money saving.
Hubby and I had a wonderful weekend getaway last weekend.
We didn’t spend a lot of money during the 2D 1N trip to the cool highland. We brought a few bags of snacks and instant noodles so we didn’t spend money on food at restaurants or food courts.
As for entertainment fees, it’s zero. We went jungle trekking, going for a stroll and having fun at a nearby waterfall that involved no money at all.
Although I have been back for a few days and busy with my niche blogs and search on life insurance rates online, I still reminisce the time hubby and I had during the weekend.
Hopefully there is another weekend getaway pretty soon in future.
Hubby and I are considering if we should cancel the 5D 4N or 4D 3N stay at my uncle’s place or shorten the stay to only 3D 2N.
The rising death toll and cases of A-H1N1 worry me and hubby a lot. 
According to my uncle, a San Jose motorcycle accident attorney, it’s fine to still have the holidays. So long as we try to stay indoors and avoid public places, we will be safe.
There is one more week to consider …
Hubby and I will put up at my uncle’s place during our short holidays at the end of August. It’s going to be a 5D 4N or 4D 3N stay.
Besides enjoying our holidays, we get to bid farewell to my cousin who is leaving for UK for a hospital job. She has recently graduated from a medical assistant training school.
She is so lucky to be offered a job in UK in this bad economy, isn’t she?
Talking about my short holidays, it seems that my family members have already got the accommodation ready.
My neighbor kids just came back from a fun-filled, educational one night camp-out at San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park in the Savannah of San Diego’s North County.
I asked the children what their favorite part was and they all agreed they liked the Nursery Kraal and the baby animal care on view.
Of course, they loved the cotton candy very much!
