I was too lazy to wake up this morning to accompany hubby before he left for work.
Perhaps it’s because of the fact that he is going to start his holidays soon. A one-week holidays!
Although he has one-week off, I know he won’t be with me all the time. He will be with his buddies most of the time as they have plans to DIY some cabinets and book shelves.
Well, this is actually a good way to save money.
There are blogging pals who are having their family vacations during the holidays, but there are also buddies who prefer to have their vacations during February school holidays in 2010.
One of hubby’s buddies who runs a business of supplying pond pumps has already started his deal hunting for a February school vacation. He and his family are going to escape the cold, and head straight for the sunny beaches in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Florida.
There are special promotions for popular February locales being offered by travel providers now.
Let me tell you a poll result that I found online after comparing some insurance quotes just now.
According to the poll survey, 4 in 5 people prefer to stay at home during the Thanksgiving and December-New Year’s Day holidays this year!
In other words, only 1 in 5 people will travel and stay overnight at a lodging facility over the holidays.
I think I am in the first category, that is staying at home during the holidays through January 2010.
Although there are special offers and incentives on hotel accommodations which are very attracting, I still don’t feel like going away.
It’s still better to save up the travel fares and expenses in the saving account.
I have been bothered by money issues these few days. It seems that it’s not possible to avoid paying the amount owed for some time.
Paying the owed amount means that there will be no saving or extra cash in hand for this month.
Strange! Why are there so many unexpected expenses every month? There seems to be never ending unexpected expenses that eat up my money. Argh, …
So, forget about buying any new furnace filters or home office furniture!
It’s even impossible to buy next month because of holiday shopping spending. Help! I need a money tree.

Argh, mad at hubby! When I am free, he doesn’t engage my help. But when I am busy with my niche blog updates and online assignments, he wants me to settle his work problem.

I am of no exception. I still haven’t found the best holiday packages and vacation deals to be recommended to my readers and here hubby needs my help.
Oh, no! It’s kind of sure that hubby will get some wii accessories this holiday shopping season.
Wii stuff were on his last year’s wish lists. And this year, they are still on his wish lists. Men will never be bored to have the same wish lists year after year, right?
Come to think it, it’s the same for the women. Yup, a small electronic gift!
