I totally forgot that I should get a new tv stand for my vacation home.
Hubby reminded me to buy one this week but I was too busy with my online assignments and niche blogs that I totally forgot about it.
If it had not been my assignments about Plasma TV, I would not have even remembered.
Instead of buying it myself, I ask hubby to do the shopping.
I am still thinking if I want to replace my old computer desks with new ones. The existing computer desks are so wobbly that I am afraid they will break one day.
Or perhaps I should just ask my neighbor to fix them for me.
With looming recession, it’s better to save more money for rainy days. You know, a few of my friends have already been laid off by their companies.
Hubby asks if giving silk ties as Xmas gifts is great. Of course, every gift is unique.
It really doesn’t matter if the gift is cheap or expensive. It’s the thought that counts.
I have already put up plenty of Christmas gift ideas on my gift blogs and stores. Perhaps I should recommend some travel gadgets and accessories as Xmas gifts on this travel blog too.

Ask for a room in a well-lit area near the elevator and away from emergency exits, stairwells and service doors.
Ask not to be placed at the end of a long corridor.
We already had a nice cheap digital camera, but hubby wanted something smaller, cheaper and more portable for me so that I could easily carry in my purse for more impulse-style picture taking outside some famous las vegas hotels.

Hubby and I really enjoyed this camera on our trip to Las Vegas last year.
Yesterday when I was having a chat with my aunt, she told me that my uncle’s students wrote some articles about my uncle on their blogs.
I was surprised and hopped over to read. What they wrote about my uncle really touched me and showed that my uncle was a great lecturer that they loved and respected so much.
He was the one who encouraged them to travel to the world to learn more about others’ arts, cultures, peoples, languages and many more. He loved sharing with them his budget travel tips to Europe when he was young.
I hope my uncle could see their articles and know that how much we love him and miss him.

I am so pissed off now. A new vacationer called up and told me that she would cancel the vacation home reservation this weekend. The reason was that her hubby had booked a vacation rental at Outer Banks much earlier.
Instead of being annoyed, I should just let it be. Why frets over small stuff?
Besides, there may be last minute booking for my vacation home these few days.
